If the plate’s gone or painted over, the next best identifier is the hinge barrel diameter, which we can measure on site, and the roller groove width, which has to match the V-track or round rail your gate runs on. Roller groove width is the one that trips up DIY parts orders, because a roller that doesn’t seat in the track will wear both the wheel and the rail in a matter of months.

OEM vs aftermarket: BFT OEM hinges are cast to match specific leaf weights.
