There are two things you can safely check before calling. First, check the keypad’s power: if the buttons light up at all, the unit has power and the problem is downstream. Second, look for visible moisture inside the housing or a cracked seal around the face. If you see water, stop there. Don’t open the housing further. BFT entry stations run on low voltage, but the gate operator nearby runs on 120V or 240V depending on the model, and a wet enclosure is not a place for fingers.
